Below you will
find a list of our services. If it is not listed, it doesn't
mean we can't
do it...just
ask!
GRANT WRITING:
Your business might be in a position to apply for funding from a private or government agency. The DeLucia Script has a specialized background in the grant writing process which started at Washington State University’s Office of Grant Research and Development and has since been complimented by the unique experience of grant writing and the complex application process for the National Institutes of Health. Additionally, we learned another level of this intricate process by attending workshops and courses on how to contract with the federal government, as well as how to work with the Small Business Administration (with an emphasis on minority companies with an 8(a) status).
PUBLISHING CONSULTANT: from scratch paper to final print
Print on Demand Publishing – Write a book or hire us to ghost write a book for you. We can publish your book via Print on Demand Publishing.
Self-Publishing – Write a book or hire us to ghost write a book for you. We can self-publish under ‘DeLucia Script Publishing’ or you can create your own publishing name.
Query Letters to Publishers – We can help get your book published the traditional route by writing query letters to appropriate publishing houses and/or agents.
Book Marketing – At this time we offer book marketing for small audiences but not through the large distribution channels. However, we do offer consulting on how to understand this process – it can be confusing and we can save you time by sharing what we know!
NEWSLETTERS:
An effective form of communicating a wide range of information.
Newsletters allow you to separate your topics in
newspaper style. They can be simple in appearance or
decorated with graphics.
BROCHURES:
An excellent way to give a synopsis of a company’s
description, an event or a product.
ARTICLES:
Articles for or about your company may be used as a marketing
tool, an advertising tool or for internal communication.
If you don't already, you may want
to consider using this communication route.
The Internet alone has numerous sites to submit an article to - sites such as, online magazines, trade groups, and news groups. Your article
is likely to be accepted if it sends a valuable
message the readers can benefit from. This is an inexpensive method of
marketing.
REPORTS:
A “Report” is a broad term in the business world.
You may provide us with a template of a standard report you might already use
to submit to a supervisor, board of directors, financial advisor, or whomever. Next, we would set up a schedule for you to email us
your up-to-date data, and we would then type it and return it in proper report format.
Or, we are able to consult with you to create a standard
report, suitable for reporting whatever data
you have in mind to whomever you need it to reach.
WEBSITE TEXT:
We can create your entire website layout with the appropriate text and communication
style or we can simply edit the current text on your website.
The goal is to keep the reader interested
through accuracy and clarity of an inviting website. To write for a website requires thoughtfulness that differs from print writing. We will learn your needs directly from you, and then we will study other websites in your industry - this combination will give us a clear understanding of where you belong in your industry's cyberworld. Consequently, we can write unique website text that separates you from your competitors.
GHOST WRITING:
Together we can write your story and you can
let DeLucia Script worry about writer’s
block, research and editing. We can consult and
guide
you through online self-publishing
or the traditional process of finding a publisher.
Our editing will ensure your piece is polished
before it is presented to a
publisher.
Publishers often require only a few chapters of a novel to be submitted for review. We can write just a few chapters of great idea and finish it after it has been accepted by a publisher. The process is less intimidating this
way.
With the DeLucia Script at your side, your book
will no longer be an idea that is shelved in your mind;
it may become a
reality.
PUBLIC RELATIONS KITS:
Public Relations
Kits are used for a few reasons and every business should
be prepared to use them. One purpose is
to use one as a collection of your company’s services
for outside, interested parties to view. An outside party
may be an investor, a potential franchisee, or someone you
are outsourcing. (Including business writers!)
Kits submitted to
the media are usually called a press kit or a media kit. A press kit can be
drawn up from
a public relations kit but it should also include
a sales pitch. A public relations kit needs to be informative. It should
include
a company overview, description of services, the solutions
provided, executive bios and contact information. Additionally, it may include your brochure, newsletter, news write-ups,
article clippings, service manuals, lists of facts, lists
of research, tables, reports…the list goes on.
The creativity of a public relations kit depends on the audience it
is geared
towards. It may be informative and have a sales
pitch written in an attached letter, requesting the reader to take action. Or, it may be strictly informative.
A presentable public relations kit sits in a professional folder, carrying
the relevant documents. If you want to add flare to your
kit and omit the folder, we can come up with creative
ideas that are fitting for your audience.
.
GRAPHIC
DESIGN:
You may use your preferred graphic designer and hire us strictly
for writing. Or you may hire us to write and create a design concept, which we outsource a
graphic designer to implement.
Before we outsource, we first create a basic layout, including
color, font and designs that will have been approved by you. We then illustrate our idea to the
graphic artist. The artist may use his or her own expertise
and style in the execution of the final first draft. We will
edit that draft to be sure the design has the right feel
for your company. Your company will then edit the second
final draft; once approved, we follow with the final print.
